MAC's fish & chips - Oromocto

Went to Mac's for lunch to get some chip-truck fries. There was no line, no one else in line behind me, and there were customers already who had their food in hand.After a brief wait, I was presented with my order, a small portion of fries. They were hot but that's all I can say. When I took my first bite, I realized the fries could have benefited from a few more minutes in the fryer. There was no salt on them. The service counter had condiments, but no salt. For "hand-cut" fries, they did not have much of a skin on them. Lastly, the container holding the fries does not do much of a job to contain them. It would appear the container would be best suited for a cover rather than a bowl. The proprietors are friendly and give good service so my experience was not a total loss.

My husband and I love eating here. The service is great and everything is made from scratch. They only have scallops a handful of times in the summer but it's worth it every time!

Exceptional poutine and fish and chips both!! treat yourself if you are in town, cash only! and ask for the homeade tartar sauce! very clean and great service!

Ate at this place in July 2015 with my son and one of my best friends. The food was excellent and the owner was wonderful to deal with. She's an awesome person and an awesome cook! Everyone should try this place!
