Koji Japanese Steakhouse Sushi

I’ve been to Tokyo quite a lot, We started out with a Sunomono salad, And chicken Katsura, YUMMY! We got the Spider Roll, spicy salmon roll which I asked for a regular roll instead of a hand roll they Accommodated) . We got the chicken tempura roll which is so good, and then I asked for the Tokyo roll. Toro who is still the top chef Itamae).. created some thing even better! Kalibe The bartender was very accommodating in everything we asked for, and the manager Hondo it’s very Friendly. I would rate this above a five if able to, Atmosphere, Professionalism and friendliness! What a great place!

Great experience! Founder and sushi chef Tora made a beautiful custom sushi plate for me tonight! Love this place so much, Tuesday specials rock, will be back.

For my Birthday dinner I wanted sushi with my Family. Two members don’t eat sushi so they opted for hibachi. My son and I love to get the sushi from this place so we opted to get a boat. So the waitress brings out the hibachi for half the table. Sushi ??? Never showed. Waited 25 minutes then simply said I’ll pay for what we got . Manager never came over waitress simply said sorry about that. Seems to me that when you have over 100$ in an order ready to go you would get the timing right. Obviously sushi takes longer then hibachi so don’t put that in till the boat is almost ready. Needless to say we left and no sushi. Would not recommend. This place obviously doesn’t care. Manager didn’t want to engage with unsatisfactory customers. If you are an owner and reading this I think quality control needs to be in the top of your list. Thank you Tokyo for ruining my birthday.

The rolls were sloppy, the tempura was stale and tasted like old grease, the rice was under cooked and old. I've had better at a buffet.... just saying. The service was great though.

While I was waiting I watched the bar tender eating pizza licking the grease off her fingers, then without washing her hands go right to bar guests and bring them menus and drinks. (kinda gross in my opinion. The hostess kept putting one of her fingers in her mouth and putting togo orders together and touching menus. Not one time did anyone of them wash their hands. Probably the last time I'll ever eat there. I would definitely recommend going to another Japanese steak house, unless you like having the employees slobber all over everything you're going to eat with.
