This cozy, family-owned restaurant is one of our favorites to visit. The food is delicious and served promptly. The staff are friendly and the prices are affordable. There is convenient parking available in the side and back of the restaurant. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be dining here again when we're in the city.

I've been coming here for over a decade, and have always liked it. However, it was purchased by new owners in the past couple of years. Normally I would find this worrisome, but all they have done is made it better. If you want a down- home, friendly place with good breakfasts (at a reasonable price), it's hard top beat.

I really enjoy dining at this restaurant because it is usually quiet and I love the food. However, there have been a few instances where the staff has been talking loudly amongst themselves and it can be disruptive. I appreciate kindness, but I also want to enjoy my meal without any disturbances. Overall, I still love this place.

Moved from Ormond 3 years ago and missed the great breakfast at Howard's. We had recently recommended them to our new neighbors in Astor, but they said it wasn't that good, so today when we were in town we stopped. Did not know it had changed hands. A superficial face-lift in dining area, bathrooms clean. That's all the good to report. No more friendly, fast and efficient service. And although by 10:30 I could have eaten scalded dog, only the egg and grits on the plate were palatable. Bacon was lowest quality, half-cooked and limp. Biscuit was from a generic label can. Lousy, lukewarm coffee. Had to wait for menus and get up to get butter myself after asking lackadaisical server. Save your hard-earned money, folks.

This place is a fantastic spot for breakfast or brunch, with a cozy style and atmosphere. The prices are unbeatable and the food is better than most chain breakfast restaurants. There's nothing fancy here, just good food. The wait staff is very personable, dressed in a unique uniform that gives them a bit of a nostalgic charm. This was my go-to breakfast spot when I lived in the area. I would give them a solid 9 out of 10 in their category.
