Was Chris at D.b. Pickles a mag?
We visited for lunch for the first time, and it was a great experience. The fried pickles were fantastic. My husband loved his liver and onions, and I had a tasty meatloaf with potatoes. On November 5, 2009, we made our second and final visit to Db Pickles, and it was extremely disappointing. This place is not deserving of being called a restaurant, and the TV advertisements are wildly misleading. Our favorite spot in Ormond Beach! We enjoy both lunch and dinner here. The menu offers a wide variety, the service is excellent, and the food is fantastic. What’s not to love?

Come for the desserts, not the entrees. Although the pastrami was good the rye bread was a wet mess. The hot open faced turkey was pressed turkey roll and the fries, while plentiful were burnt. The server worked very hard but was given too many tables.

Alice was our bartender and server, and she was incredible! Her personality, suggestions, and overall knowledge were outstanding. My wife and I will definitely be returning, and we'll also recommend this place to our friends and family. It was the best dining experience we've had all year!
