Agave Fresh Mex And Cantina Ormond Beach, Fl

My family and I are going to Agave almost every week. It used to be super!!! Always busy, ingenious food, super service, but lately the service was terrible slow and the food bad.... Guac was bitter and tasteless, carne asada tacos had no season, but the choriqueso was good.

I didn't finish my review. We're going to Agave when we're in Ormond. The food is fresh and wonderful. My favorite is the Pollo Poblano. I order it every time my husband likes the Quesadilla and chickens Enchiladas. You just can't go wrong here.

Update: since my last review service is now 5 stars! Miguel remembers my drink and is always ok n top of all guests! Good atmosphere. Bartenders are nice. Sometimes a little slow, but not too bad. I'm still here

Restaurant was clean, had high ratings, and we were just buying a few doors down. They seemed to be a little short staff, but in the final service was acceptable. A guy worked at the host station, waiting tables, busy tables and was behind the bar. But he covered everything. The usual chips salsa were average. The Queso and Chips were pretty good. We both ordered Mexican pizzas. They were well prepared, attractively presented, but in the end, we both thought they were very short on taste. Given the overall high ratings, it may be just a difference of individual preferences and taste.

Awesome Mexican restaurant located in the shopping plaza near Publix. Ordered enchiladas Durango and received a huge plate with three enchiladas, rice, and beans. Huge portions, great place.
