there have been changes in the hotel since we were last there. the meals were excellent (all 6 of us agreed, and all had different meals.) also the table service was excellent. I don't like to order drinks and meals on my handy, but we have done everything and accept that it is the way to the future. in the tavern there is also a new decoration that brightens and opens. very nice night. What User doesn't like about Norfolk Tavern:
Power bowl was inedible. Overcooked rice soaked in soy, a few chunks of tomato and cucumber, wilted lettuce and kimchi. The saving grace was a few pieces of avocado. As soon as it arrived I knew it was going to be awful, it looked unappetising. Tasted disgusting. Kimchi and soy sauce overpowered the vegies. With very few vegetarian and vegan options on the menu it would be beneficial to get this particular dish right... View all feedback.
We have always had a positive experience at The Norfolk. The staff is friendly and professional, the food is great, and the service is exceptional. The events we have hosted there have always run smoothly, even when we had last-minute changes. This is why we continue to frequent this restaurant! Highly recommended.

We travelled 50mins to catch up with friends on holidays and really enjoyed our lunch. Meals where delicious, good size, kids meals where huge. Play area and games room is a huge plus. Service was great, clean tidy place, Only thing negative is the drinks where a little pricey.
