The Optimal Kitchen - Orleans

We have tried several ready-to-eat items from TOK at the Saturday Orleans farmers market, and the fresh options have been enjoyable. We usually incorporate some protein, such as nuts or seeds, as the main dishes and sides are predominantly grains and vegetables. Despite being advertised as "plant-based", we have noticed some dishes with local eggs included in the ingredients. However, we found the frozen meals and soups to be unsatisfying, lacking in flavor, and not very filling.

We discovered TOK at the Orleans Farmer's Market. I wasn't particularly impressed with the Thai noodle salad. It lacked flavor and seemed to be mostly noodles and cabbage for $10. We also sampled their power balls and hummus. I would consider getting the power balls again, but the hummus didn't have tahini so it wasn't as creamy as I would have liked. I personally prefer my homemade hummus or store-bought brands. Due to the pricing in relation to portion size, I would be hesitant to return.

The food at this restaurant was very bland and overpriced. It was certainly a healthy option, but lacked in flavor.
