I sat on a 1/2 stand 1/2 table after I had specifically asked for a table to see only others at the available tables. I asked the table about mobility problems in my party and was disappointed that my question was not taken seriously. View all feedback.

Great ambience and story behind the restaurant. Food was so-so. Shishito peppers were so Bland I don’t know why you would even serve them. Pork belly was average. Was tender but Lacked flavor. View all feedback.

The staff did an outstanding job and provided excellent service. The unique drinks and food dishes are delicious and are generous portions. Very cool vibe, easy parking, and a great place for drinks or dinner.
Our waiter was excellent and service was very good. It is a very different menu and we enjoyed most of what we ordered.

My husband and I went yesterday with our 2 kids. I ordered the B B’s Knees, deviled eggs, and porterhouse with watermelon salad. My husband had the same drink and got the fried chicken, Mac cheese, and potatoes. My daughter got the kids hamburger and fries. The deviled eggs were pretty good, just a little heavy on the onion powder. The porterhouse, potatoes, and watermelon salad were delicious. All of it was absolution delicious. I’ll probably get it again next time I come back. The B B cocktail was phenomenal as well. Very balanced. My husbands fried chicken had good flavor but seemed over cooked. His biscuit was over cooked too. Besides that I think it would have been really good. We may try it again next time. His Mac cheese was to die for though. My 4 year old destroyed her burger. I’m sure she would have liked the fries too but they were so good I accidentally ate most of them before she could get to them lol. Overall, The Monroe has earned itself a spot on my repeat list. The service was quick, friendly, and extremely accommodating with our small children. The venue itself is soooo stylish and there are plenty of instagramable areas. And I LOVE that it’s black owned! I’m excited to go back and hang out at the bar to try some other cocktails next time!
