Ok, so I finally got to try some butter beer. It was much better than I expected. I reminded me of a root beer float with vanilla ice cream. But of course it was a little different. Either way I was happy with the butter beer. It was $8, I think, for one. But honestly this is a good beverage to share with others. Supposedly, it’s only 200 calories for the whole cup, but I suspect it may be higher. While it tasted goo... View all feedback.
The best spot for hot butterbeer in Diagon Alley. Often overlooked so the crowds are low. Fast and friendly service.
Frozen butterbeer was delicious. Big enough to share between two otherwise a bit pricey
A good tasting Butter Beer at this establishment. They had it cold, iced or hot. We had the cold and were pleasantly happy with how yummy it was.
The best part about visiting Diagon Alley as a muggle was being able to head into all the shops and of course indulge in the butterbeer. It's interesting how butterbeer played a relatively small role in the Harry Potter franchise but has become a staple for anyone visiting Harry Potter World in Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure. It was about 100 degrees on the day we visited and was packed shoulder-to-shoulder with people but the refreshingly cold, tasty, and sugary butterbeer offered a much needed reprieve. Ideally I'd advise sharing with a friend, because 1) it's more fun to share, and 2) it's quite a bit to drink by yourself. The frozen option was like a cream soda slushee and was delightful, but next time will be looking forward to trying the regular soda-type butterbeer. Highly recommend!
I finally had the chance to try butter beer, and it exceeded my expectations! It reminded me of a root beer float with vanilla ice cream, though it had its own unique twist. I enjoyed it a lot. I believe it was about $8 for a cup, but I think it's a beverage that's better shared with others. They say a whole cup is only 200 calories, but I have my doubts about that. While it was delicious, I can't imagine many people would want to drink an entire cup of butter beer by themselves.
