TGI FRIDAYS - Universal Studios

I wasn't expecting much since this hotel was on the cheaper side of some of the ones we've stayed at recently.

This property has undergone some relatively recent renovations, so it is generally clean and modern on a generic way.

Warm cookies and extra waters upon check-in Starbucks to welcome me to a new day every time I come downstairs is a good hotel in my book.

Six of us went for a light dinner after a show. We shared appetizers, all of which were super! My brother had a salad (arugula, red and yellow beets, pistachios and creme fraiche) which he declared the best he'd ever eaten. Very pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff. The only thing missing was a glass of wine and a few beers... it's BYO, which we didn't realize.

Very tasty food. Excellent presentation. Friendly staff. Nice ambience. Neat neighborhood scene. Highly recommended. The place has potential.
