Sloppy Joe's Orlando

Great ambience, delicious food and fantastic service

Love sloppy’s! Been going to their original location in the keys for years and was very excited to see they opened one up in Orlando considering we’re there for work often. As the name suggests, definitely order something related to the sloppy joe (Sandwich, sloppy fries, sloppy nachos, etc) and you can’t go wrong

Went here with our two oldest kids and enjoyed the food. We loved seeing the big screens with live feeds of Key West, made the day feel brighter! The restaurant was fairly cold inside and though it would be great on an 85+ degree day, we went when it was 70s and cloud/sun mix so the concrete floors made it feel much cooler with all the AC pumping in. We chose to visit at noon for lunch so the restaurant was fairly empty at this time. Tried the sloppy fries to share as an appetizer and these are not something to pass up! They were smothered in melty cheese and delicious sloppy joe mix but the fries were still crisp and not soggy in the least. A favorite for the whole table! I would definitely suggest the sloppy joe and sweet potato tots. It was a perfect salty/savory and sweet combo. The tots are served with an icing style dipping sauce that certainly wasn’t needed unless you start treating them like your dessert (which you can! Mahi tacos and shrimp tacos were good choices but not overly spectacular. The buttermilk chicken and bacon sandwich is definitely something to rave about. GREAT chicken and a HUGE piece with a crisp bacon. A simple and great flavor. The pasta salad that we chose as a side for it was good but definitely a bit oily. Flavor was great, pasta wasn’t mushy and the vegetables (cucumber and green pepper were also still crunchy. We didn’t order dessert because we didn’t save room but overall this is a place I’d try again. You certainly need to have the awareness that the food is served with “tourist” size prices, but it is a solid choice so there is still value in that dollar you spend. Service was good. Not overly amazing but certainly not average. Smiles from all the staff and quickly greeted, seated and served. Treated with kindness when leaving as well which was refreshing.
