The experience was fantastic, and the atmosphere was wonderful as well. It was a perfect evening at 78°, so we dined outside. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. I ordered the queso fundido, which was delicious. The drinks were excellent too. View all feedback.

Reyes has a history of service issues, and this visit was no exception. Although we had reserved a high-top table, the hostess was reluctant to seat us there. I had mentioned half an hour before our reservation that I’d prefer not to be seated in the middle and requested a table on the side. I specifically asked for a high-top table, and I could see several of them empty, but she insisted that they were all taken and didn’t suggest any alternative seating that was at the outer edge of the restaurant. Instead, she stayed at the front, chatting about personal matters while the empty tables remained unattended. At the beginning, her demeanor was rude, and she even rolled her eyes as she interacted with us. In contrast, another staff member with dark hair was warm and friendly, which made the experience with the hostess even more disappointing. Nevertheless, I was excited for my meal, although I was prepared for the usual service shortcomings. Unfortunately, the service issues extended to our meal as well. Our waiter forgot to bring out one of our dishes, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. We ordered pulpo a la plancha (keep in mind that this was a weekday reservation at 6 PM), chips and salsa, seabass, and a side of yucca fritas. The pulpo came with a unique tentacle that was salty, and overall had an overwhelming potato taste (a lot of starchy texture). It was well-cooked, but somehow it lacked the flavor we had come to expect from this restaurant. The seabass was also well-prepared, but the sauce was different from what we were used to. I'm not sure what went wrong, but after this experience, we won’t be going out of our way to make reservations at Reyes or recommend it to others.
Afternoon drinks and apps before they drive to the anway center. good eating and drinks, somewhat disappointed some items we ordered were not available. would go back if in the opposite.
