The hot Hot Peppers are always fantastic. the Italian Beef Sandwich is delightful every time. I will say the volume of meat is down about 15-20% post pandemic. The Chicago Dog is always awesome, and the Polish Sausage w. mustard and caramelized onions is a flavor bomb and a half. Gotta love this place. View all feedback.
What Steve T doesn't like about Portillo's:
Beef Cheddar Croissant and Combo Beef Char Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich both had soggy bread and dry meat. Probably better when at restaurant and doesn apos;t travel well from deliveries. Fries were also soggier, but still delicious, especially with cheese sauce. View all feedback.
The hot dogs were delicious! Juicy! The cheese sauce made everything taste amazing! I loved the pickled was a quartered dill pickle and the sweet relish was interesting. Fries were tasty.
Shakes great. The Beef Cheddar Croissant did not have any cheese on it when it arrived....

I have noticed that the portion of meat seems to have decreased by about 15-20% since the pandemic. The Chicago Dog is always fantastic, and the Polish Sausage with mustard and caramelized onions is an explosion of flavor. I absolutely love this place!
The Italian Beef Sandwich was undercooked, greasy, and soggy—by far the worst I've ever had. I was extremely disappointed.
