Small pizza joint located within Sodo shopping plaza. The customer service could be better. We arrived on a Wednesday at 1230pm. There was only 1 employee working the front. The poor girl was working as cashier, host and waitress. The wait was 30 minutes for dine in and take out. They definitely need to hire more employees. After waiting for 30 mins I finally got my personal pizza. I ordered the steak and fire pizza... View all feedback.
First time ordering Flippers and it was actually pretty good. Loved the bread bites and we got the 4 cheese pizza. All I really have to say and sadly no pictures to share
I've been hearing about Flippers for quite awhile and finally gave it a try. I'm normally not one to go to a chain pizzeria but I gave it a shot. Their pizza is a little bit thicker than a New York style pizza but it was still good. Their breadsticks are definitely top tier. One of my favorite breadsticks that I've ever had. I ordered a my pie pizza which is their personal size pizza that comes with 4 slices. The staff was insanely nice and sweet. My mom can't have certain things because of her medication and the chef came to our table and spoke to my mom to understand her need and make her food correctly. Their staff deserves all the praise! Their employees were checking up on us making sure we enjoyed our food, which we did. The restaurant itself is in a great location and is well managed. They are constantly cleaning and making sure everything looks correct. It was a quiet afternoon when we ate and had some music playing in the background.
Glass on pizza! Visiting from out of state, they had good rating and it was close to our hotel so we called in an order. Told us 15 minutes. We got there in 15-20 and they couldn't find our pizza... they never made it, ticket was hanging with the others. Had to wait for our pizzas and cheese bread to be made. Got back to our hotel and started eating and my 16yr old daughter crunched on something loud enough we all heard it. She spits out a piece of glass... need I say more?
My Daddy suggested Flippers 2 years ago, some of the best brick-fired pizza, if we ever go Tampa! Well, we had business to take care of in Tampa, Fl this past Saturday, and a decision was made for me to try Flippers. We went to the Flippers on N. Dale Mabry Hwy, which was in close proximity to where we needed to be! It was early evening 4:30 pm. Nice looking building. We walked in and noticed that it smelled pretty darn good. I 'm from New Jersey and my family owned a popular Fine Dining establishment in historic Chambersburg district back in the day! I know restaurant smells, and this one brought me back! Very nice, very fresh with a subtle hint of garlic and cheese and herbs. I noticed the very nice delivery bags stacked neat and orderly, glanced up and saw the menu, looked just the like their website menu, which I glanced at earlier that day. I saw Calzone, I saw Individual Pizzas, really nice ingredient salads, the polite gentleman waiting to take our order, blond, not a kid but definitely not older than myself. I ordered the calzone! I asked for sausage and fresh garlic, add extra ricotta and an extra side of marinara. My friend ordered a meat- lovers individual pizza. We both got root beers in the bottle and the gentleman gave us two cups for ice when I requested. There was a couple finishing up their meal, we took the booth by the front window, my back was too the front of the restaurant which was very clean, I was happy to see crushed red pepper and parmigiana cheese as part of the table condiment setup. My friend who was sitting across from me said there was another gentleman in the kitchen area chopping fresh bell peppers. I asked him what color. Green. Very Cool. I retorted. Food didn 't take long. It was brought to our table and looked and smelled delicious. My Daddy 's individual pizza was perfect too! Said he! Calzone came perfectly prepared and was the best calzone I had since moving to Florida 7 years ago! I told the 2 gentleman that when we left. We totally recommend!
Great, family-friendly place for a fast casual pizza meal. I took my kids here for a post-movie pizza. The place was empty, although the kitchen was busy with take out orders. You order at the counter, and then they bring the food to you. We got a large pepperoni napoli pizza, the roast broccoli, and some drinks (they serve Pepsi products, boo, but they also have some local beers on tap, yay). The food was delivered quickly. I love the roast broccoli with the different textures and flavors. The kids both enjoyed the pizza, and my husband enjoyed the leftovers heated up at home. I thought the pizza didn't quite live up to the claim as napolitan (the crust was just a little too soft and even), but it was still tasty. Lots of parking the private lot.
