Coconuts Poolside Bar has an extensive drink menu. I added Mahi Mahi to my salad, and it was absolutely delicious! And the Piña Coladas were fantastic!
Today, I visited the Hyatt Regency Orlando again, this time staying in Tower 1, while my last visit was in Tower 2. I decided to dine at Coconuts. It was quite chilly at noon when I arrived. I ordered a burger, a soda, and a Bahama Mama. The burger was served piping hot and fresh, and the fries were cooked to perfection. The outdoor dining area was a relaxing and enjoyable spot for lunch on this cool day!
Nice break from my very smelly hotel room. Hey Hyatt, prohibit your maids from using stinky powders on the hotel room carpets or scented beads in their vacuum cleaner bags.
The pool area is very clean and well-maintained. They even provide free beach towels—just swipe your room key, and a decent towel is dispensed for you. There's also a convenient return dispenser for the towels. I didn't eat any food, but we did order margaritas. Unfortunately, they were quite weak and only about 8 ounces, costing $14 each. The bartender wasn't very friendly either; she seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there. Even after a generous tip, her attitude didn't improve. I suppose that's good for her—she can't be bought.
I arrived from Denver today and headed straight to the pool right after checking in. The poolside bar is charming, serving delicious Piña Coladas and other refreshing drinks. I also enjoyed a fantastic lunch. It was a bit expensive, but since I'm in Orlando, that's to be expected.
