Nestled in Orlando, this restaurant garners mixed feedback from diners. Guests rave about the fresh, flavorful food, with standout dishes like the cheese enchiladas and the Elvis Presley combo receiving high praise. However, some diners noted inconsistencies in food quality and service, citing bland dishes and slow wait times. While certain patrons fondly appreciated the attentive service from specific staff members, others experienced lapses in attention, impacting their overall enjoyment. Despite these challenges, many express a willingness to return, drawn by the promise of vibrant flavors and a lively atmosphere, making it a noteworthy stop for Mexican cuisine lovers.

That was great. service was great. the waitress named marlow was helpful with the vegetarian options. the fried beans have no lard. she also beat the best dishes and was right! we had the veggie enchiladas with the boom boom boom sauce and she had made the chuychanga vegetarian for us. chips and salsa are free and refilled. the salsa is fresh and sharp! long waits but at the weekend and they do not take any reservations. it was worth waiting. also the boom boom sauce upgrade is worth it!

Best TexMex in Central Florida, just not the enchiladas. They're neither green nor red, but brown so if you're expecting enchiladas like El Paso or New Mexico, you're out of luck. The fajitas are the best. Do try the Hatch, NM green chili.

We're vegetarians and they really treated us to some fantastic tasty Tex-Mex food! Our server was very knowledgeable about vegetarian options. We ordered vegi enchiladas with rice and beans. Added the Ranch Jalapeno sauce and it rocked!!! New vegetarian menu is available now! Take care and veg on to better health and help for the environment by being vegetarian or vegan!!!

Chuy 's, my first experience was over twenty years ago in Orange Park. So happy to have found this great place again. We have recently visited the location in Jacksonville with a great experience. This location was clean and kept up. Nothing was indisrepair the restroom were well stocked and clean. The outside was clean including the entrance and sidewalk leadinginside. This location is equally good as the Jacksonville location. We were a party of six, and the host was a little slowgetting us checked in as the restaurant was not busy. Our server was fantastic, she was very receptive to our needs and prompt. The food was fantastic as usual. Our food arrived about fifteen minutes after ordering it. I ordered the Panchos and weshared them as an appetizer. The menu states, if Nachos had a big brother . They were delicious, lots of flavor and spice. Asalad, the Elvis Presley and kids burrito were ordered with no complaints. What I feel is nice, is there is a spice foreveryone 's pallet, if you like hot-there 's HOT, but if you prefer mild then there 's that too. As with most Spanish restaurantswe had more food that we could eat and brought three boxes home. Menu prices are fair, and even a bargain as there is always somuch food left over. On a side note, if the menu states beef it doesn 't mean ground beef...it 's seasoned steak cut up. Thestaff is friendly and supportive of their employer, all were wearing the cool Tee 's offered for sale in the lobby. There aremultiple places to sit and eat throughout the restaurant. There is a full bar with a bartender, however this was not part ofour visit. Based on the food, service, and overall experience we will be visiting Chuy 's for a long time to come.

We were hoping that this would be as good as the one we ate at in Rockville MD and we were not disappointed. The quality of the food was great and the value was excellent. Given that International Drive can be expensive, Chuy's is a welcome exception.Service was excellent too. If you like a challenge, my advice is to try the Elvis Memorial meal!
