Thank you so much! I ordered this through Uber Eats, and it was incredibly delicious. I typically don't write reviews, but I felt the need to share my appreciation for the outstanding delivery service.
Despite having two people on the grill, they couldn't keep up with the rush, and the rice wasn't even seasoned properly. I understand that sometimes cilantro and lime juice may run out, but salt should always be available. Shockingly, no spices were added at all, and even the chicken tasted bland, as if no salt had been used. The food should have a noticeable flavor, which is the standard we expect. To make matters worse, I waited 20 to 30 minutes for my order, even though there were only six people ahead of me. The most disappointing part was that when I finally received my meal, it didn’t even taste like Chipotle—it was worse. Serious attention needs to be given to the operation of this location.
Where do I even start? This restaurant frequently closes unexpectedly and only accepts online orders due to short staffing. The guacamole is often just chunks of unripe avocado. The dishes are typically overloaded with cheese and usually contain at least two other ingredients as well. The portion sizes are overly generous, but that's not necessarily a good thing. The employees come across as unfriendly, and the interior is quite dirty. This place is a perfect example of how not to run a food business. By the way, the photo included shows a double protein plate with salsa, black beans, and guacamole.
For starters, they are clearly understaffed during the lunch rush. There was only one person making burritos, one at the register, and inexplicably, two people working on the grill. Having worked the grill myself, I know that even during the busiest lunch hours, one person can manage it with a little help. Despite having two people there, they were still falling behind and didn't even season the rice properly. I understand that we might occasionally run out of cilantro or lime juice, but there's always salt available, yet none was added. Even the chicken lacked seasoning, making it taste bland. You would expect the flavors to reflect the Chipotle standard, but during my visit, which wasn't even exceptionally busy, I waited 20 to 30 minutes just to place my order, with only six people ahead of me. The worst part is that when I finally received my food, it didn't even taste like Chipotle; somehow, it was worse. Management really needs to take a hard look at how things are being run here.
First, there was nobody in the restaurant but me. The person on the food line was making an online order, which was two bowls. From the time I walked in, to the time the employee greeted me, it was 7 minutes, which I timed. 7 MINUTES TO MAKE TWO BOWLS?!The line started building as the lunch rush came in, about 15-20 people behind me in line, the employee still hadn?t greeted meor started my order. There is NO SENSE OF URGENCY at this store. Then, I asked for double meat, and I got a tiny scoop thatseemed to be half of one serving. When I got home (about 5 min away) my food was ice cold and flavorless, like they forgot toseason everything. I am so disgusted with the quality I didn?t even want to eat it. When I got home, I separated the meat frommy bowl and weighed it. 4oz with a little bit of toppings on it. So probably about 3oz of meat. Which was supposed to be double.I eat chipotle very frequently, about 2-3 times a week and it?s never consistent with anything. I paid almost $10 for the worstmeal I?ve ever had.
