**Exploring Cedars: A Mixed Bag of Moroccan Delights**
Cedars restaurant offers a vibrant mix of Lebanese cuisine that captivates with its authentic flavors and inviting atmosphere. Many patrons rave about the standout lamb rack and fresh appetizers, while some highlight exemplary service from attentive staff. However, recent experiences reveal inconsistencies, particularly with dishes like shawarma, which have veered off the path to authenticity, leading to disappointment. Despite high prices, the overall quality of food, especially the sides and hookah, garners praise. On weekends, the lively ambiance coupled with entertainment adds to the charm, making Cedars a potentially rewarding dining destination in Orlando.
Was Oscar Picon at Cedars a mag?
This was our first visit to the restaurant. We tried almost four appetizers, and they were all good. My wife ordered the chicken, while I opted for the lamb chops. The kids had shrimp scampi, which they enjoyed as well. Overall, we liked everything, but with six of us dining, the bill came to $440, which felt a bit pricey. View all feedback.
What Melany Ramirez dislikes about Cedars:
This used to be my favorite spot for kibbeh, shawarma, and hummus. However, I ordered a shawarma today and was very disappointed. Previously, their shawarmas were authentic and delicious, but when I got home, I found that my shawarma only had chicken, FRENCH FRIES (who puts French fries in a shawarma?), and some kind of pickled vegetable. The shawarma was dry and not authentic at all. The service was also poor; my mo... View all feedback.

My family and I used to visit this family-owned restaurant frequently because of its charming atmosphere, but our most recent experience was not what we had hoped for. While there aren't many places in Orlando that offer a combination of entertainment, dining, and hookah, we may consider returning in the future. The only server who provided us with good service was our own, who was juggling multiple tables. Teamwork among the staff seemed lacking, and we found the managers to be a bit rude.
This is literally one of my favorites to eat at for some authentic Lebanese food. I do drive an hour and a half one way to eat here. When you walk in it's definitely got the Mediterranean vibe and look. We were sat immediately and greeted with a smile. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We chose outdoor this time. Our server was a female and I didn't get her name but she was amazing. For our appetizers we got kibeh naye I might of butched that spelling lol. Anyways it's raw meat, lamb I believe, ground up super fine and like a paste with the MOST AMAZING spices. You would never know it was raw unless someone told you, and I paired this with tabouleh it's like a Lebanese salad made with tomatoes parsley and onion and of course some more yummy spices. All of it was just superb as always. As our main dish we got the mixed grills which is beef lamb and chicken served with rice and mixed vegetables. And it was to die for!! Meat was so tender and flavorful. And to finish we had some cheese dessert that is fried topped with a simple syrup. It was good as well. Over all I just love this place and all their food. Oh I also forgot to mention all their pita bread is fresh made to order. It's a must go I promise you won't be disappointed
We absolutely love finding Cedar's. They are absolutely wonderful. Everything is so fresh and tasty. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the staff is five star. Return from my second time this afternoon... love it! The outdoor seating is really wonderful as well .
This has been a favorite of ours for a long time yet I have not been since prior to COVID! If I want some good Mediterranean food this was the only place I would go! It is cheap no but it is worth every dime for the flavorful Lebanese food it's authentic! The service is as you would expect they are attentive but also leave you to enjoy your good and take your time the Mediterranean way savor good food and good company take your time and eat! The ambiance is very lively yet relaxed Monday night and the place was pretty full not the usual for most restaurants. Hubby and I paid $116 not overly expensive for what we ate plus 2 beer and a glass of wine. This is a five star experience we moved away from the rat race of Orlando to north west Florida our first visit to see our grown kids and we had to come here!
I realized it has been ten years since I've left a review of Cedar's on Yelp! Blissfully, nothing has changed. It's still the best Middle Eastern food in Orlando. In fact, I've traveled the world and have yet to find better. The hummus and tabbouleh and baba ganoush can't be beat. The falafel is never greasy, and the pitas are baked fresh and replenished multiple times during your meal. Service is always friendly, and you can tell they are really happy for your business. Perfection.

This restaurant is a 10/10 in food, service and the price-quality ratio. Wow wow wow! The food was just amazing. Fresh and perfectly cooked. Zero complaints. Our server was amazing. Have use good recommendations and even gave us extra pita bread andsauce to take home with our leftovers. I believe this sample platter was $20 and there was plenty to share and haveleftovers! This is my new go-to restaurant for when I?m craving middle eastern food.

It's virtually impossible to have totally authentic Lebanese food in North America, as the food has to be Americanized a little but Cedar's comes pretty close. A lot of options on the menu, some you don't often see in Middle Eastern restaurants here, allwell prepared and presented. Service is quick and friendly, prices a little on the high side.

This restaurant deserves a perfect 10/10 for its food, service, and value for money. Wow, wow! The food was incredible—fresh and perfectly cooked, with absolutely no complaints. Our server was fantastic, offering great recommendations and even giving us extra pita bread and sauce to take home with our leftovers. I think our meal cost around $20, and there was plenty to share, plus we had leftovers! This has officially become my go-to spot for Middle Eastern cuisine.
Great place, food is delicious, price is great, excelent reception. we will be back and soon
Our food was so good but the service and atmosphere made our night even better! Coming from the Middle East this restaurant gives you a true Arabian night! Our server Maria was so amazing she even made my niece get up and dance and boosted her confidence! This restaurant makes you feel that your apart of their family! Loved it! I wish they had this in Charlotte, NC!
It's nearly impossible to find truly authentic Lebanese cuisine in North America, as the dishes tend to be somewhat Americanized. However, Cedars comes remarkably close. Their menu features a variety of options, some of which you don't typically see in Middle Eastern restaurants, all of which are well-prepared and beautifully presented. The service is quick and friendly, though the prices are a bit on the higher side.
The food is excellent and deserves 4-5 stars. But the 5 stars are really for Mr. Sakr and his excellent service at the hook bar. It's the best tasting hook I ever had and I had it all over the world. It is clean, fresh and amazing. You will not be able to find another hookah like this.
