This is like a gourmet sandwich shop! You know what you get, but everything has something else that BETTER does than you ever had. I've been here several times and could try at least 6 of their selections. Her tomato soup is amazing. Great, fresh, soups, sandwiches and salads PLUS a bar (beer and wine) so if you are alone, you don't have to sit alone. PERFECT to dive for a quick bite or to spend a cozy meal. My last... The roast beef sandwich takes me back to flavorful memories. There's never a wait, the food is excellent, and the staff is always friendly.

My last trip I actually stopped on my way home from a business lunch elsewhere... just to have her cheesecake... omg... worth a stop only for dessert and wine. Oh, and the prices are reasonable.
I had the burger with a side of potato salad. The burger was juicy and cooked perfectly to medium. In my opinion, it was better than more expensive alternatives like wahlburgers. The bun was nicely toasted and there was a unique dressing on the lettuce which was a nice touch...potato salad was good sized and tasty as well. Cant beat it for the price.
When I first walked into Restaurant Ash, I was blown away by the decor inside. It felt incredibly comfortable yet upscale, and I was immediately excited to try the food. Following the upscale quick casual trend, you walk up to the register at the edge of the bar and place your order, with the queue lined with a couple drink bins filled with delicious options. I personally chose a Jones Grape Soda, and ordered the Cuban sandwich with a side of potato salad. I chose one of the hightop tables toward the back, and settled in. In the fashion I expexcted, my order was out in under 10 minutes. While waiting, I found the staff inside incredibly pleasant and efficient, wonderfully friendly without being invasive. When my order arrived, I was excited by the press marks on the bread, looking forward to the enjoyably-melty insides somebody that grew up frequenting Cuban sandwich shops craves. I was slightly disappointed when the meat and cheese inside the bread was still cold, meaning they had only briefly pressed it. And even now, after having left, I still would've preferred the sandwich to have been all the way hot. Ignoring that small road bump, the sandwich was very tasty, but not necessarily something I would find myself craving. All-in-all, I will definitely give this place a couple more tries, as it definitely has some awesome potential.
Underrated. Burgers are really nice even without fries. Decent drink specials too. Doubles are gut ripping. Loving Sunday's **** Mary. I really don't know how to characterize them other than to say soups and sandwiches, burgers and stuff, but on a level higher than simply casual dining. It's a nice, cozy, sophisticated sort of place with an interesting artisanal flare. Sort of reminds me of Mallow's or Trans Am's nearby without the prices or crowds. Where else can you order an awesome elk or bison burger cooked to order for less than $10? We're neighbors and after half a dozen burger trips, I still haven't had one come out not done to order. That's a feat in and of itself. Especially given, most places ask how you want it and overshoot on doneness. I do sense some Britishisms going on here with faux newspaper tray liners, Coronation inspired chicken salad, smart tidy salad greens, counter ordering format, and ode to Governor Ramasy. Sold out of a few things once, like nearby Taco Sheena, which as a direct result, influences the number of times we frequent here. Solid four something or other rounded up.
