I absolutely love Barraco's! In my opinion, they serve the best thin-crust pizza around. They've been in business for years, starting with their original location in Evergreen Park, Illinois. The crust is always perfectly crispy, and the pizza is delicious, seasoned just right. The sauce is well-seasoned, and the toppings are fresh and finely chopped. We used to visit the original restaurant in Evergreen Park regular... View all feedback.
What Ken N doesn't like about Barraco's Pizza:
We have visited Barraco's on Wolf numerous times and have consistently enjoyed our dining experiences there. Last night, we decided to try the new Orland location for pizza. We ordered... View all feedback.
We decided to try Barraco's for pizza. My take is that it was very expensive for what you got. It cost around $40 for 2 medium pizzas. As far as quality, we had a veggie and a pepperoni. The vegetables were diced finely and were more of a mush, making it not enjoyable. The pepperoni was not bad. Overall, it wasn't terrible, just not our cup of tea.
I hope this play goes out of business! Burnt to a crisp. $35 for a deep dish, wasn’t allowed toppings. I was overwhelmed by the amount of sauce that was the pizza.
I've been to this location so many times in the past. Never have I ever been treated the way my family and I were treated today. Wearrived at the restaurant at about 7:35pm. 3 adults 3children. We were told that there were no servers so there was an hour wait for service. We didn't mind the sir because we now live out of town and couldn't wait to easy here as we have when we lived in Chicago. The young lady at the counter proceeds to ask for my name and number and took out a scratch sheet of paper to write it on I thought that was strange because I've never seen a restaurant of this caliber do this). We leave the restaurant and go to Bunny's. She calls me at 8:06 exactly and tells me that they only have a booth open that will only fit 4 people and stated that children could not d it at the bar area. She days that the dining area closed at 8pm. Which was also strange since I was told there was an hour wait for service. Of course I called back to ask what time the dining room closes and I was told 2am!!! Barraco's please explain this!
This establishment is very rude and disrespectful to it’s patrons. I spoke with the manager Jennifer to explain that the chicken was very rubbery. But I never got the opportunity as she was very curt and rude. I hadn’t even spoken a word unfortunately before she verbally assaulted me. She accused me of desiring a free meal. And I simply wanted a nice meal after working a 12 hour shift serving others. She rolled her eyes forcefully trashing the food without hearing why I dislike the rubbery chicken. Then she accused me of wanting a free meal as I sat in my scrubs after a hard day of work. She forcibly trashed the food then she insulted me. She treated me like I was beneath her. I had not even said a full sentence. I understood that I was not welcomed as a patron here as she walked off before I finished explaining. As hurtful as this encounter was, I realized where I am unwelcome. I want to thank her for trying to show me my place. I don’t get the option to treat people like dirt as a registered nurse, but even if I could, I would never. Everyone deserves to be treated like a person. Unfortunately tonight I wasn’t.
Great wine list! Can't beat their wine prices. Super Italian beef pizza with peppers. Great antipasto salad. Delish salmon. Warm and inviting. Nice patio as well We love our server- Karen All in all, a good experience and food every time I've been here (20 xs+ Consistent
