Since Jorge took over and rebranded as Hecho on 4th Street, lunches and breakfasts have been elevated. My husband and I have followed Jorge from Farwood, to The Hive and now to his own place. Amy has also been making amazing pastries and the pastry case and cookie jars are always full of sweet treats! We are soo excited for what is to come! Try it out.. you will not be disappointed! What D T doesn't like about Hecho On 4th. Street:
This place does a decent plate of eggs, they make their own gravy for the biscuits. However, a lot of items on the menu are way too pricey like $5 for a small brownie or $15 for a burrito. There's a Mexican place literally less than a quarter mile away, and all of their burritos are $10 and taste a lot better. Ever since Jorge took over and rebranded the restaurant on 4th Street as Hecho, the quality of lunches and breakfasts has significantly improved. My husband and I have been loyal customers of Jorge, following him from Farwood to The Hive and now to his own establishment. Amy also creates delicious pastries, and the display case is always stocked with sweet treats. We are eagerly looking forward to what the future holds for Hecho. Don't hesitate to give it a try - you won't be disappointed!
Hi Dolores! Crunchy ice, A+ country potatoes, waitress was very nice and accommodating. All around wonderful place to eat.
Great food and service. Love the charming atmosphere. Delicious bakery goods to take home after your meal . I had the chicken fried steak breakfast, one of the best I have ever enjoyed! ?
Food very good. Super friendly people. On the expensive side for what you get but worth it. They also have nugget ice which is the best. Chips here are home made.
I really like this place. Everyone is nice, place is clean and food is good. The only thing I dislike about this place is the way the menu is worded. Also when I order an omelet with sausage I don't think I will get one tiny sausage link cut into small pieces. I also think the food portions have gotten smaller. Over all a really nice place to earn great for a couple or a family of larger size. The cookies are yummy as well.
