Excellent Sunday pub lunch great value for money. The meal was served by friendly efficient staff who knew their stuff! I was especially interested to be there as I worked there or so years ago pre-fire and many re- arrangements. Glad to...report I found the place in fine fettle and recommend warmly. Soup of the day and a chicken burger. Great pub grub! Very reasonably priced and good service. The Chicken burger was delicious and a shout-out for having lovely Chunky homemade chips!
I adore a well-preserved neolithic monument that is centuries old. The meaning behind these ancient stones remains a mystery, adding to their allure and intrigue.
Welcome to the Orkney Islands, also known as the "heart of Neolithic Orkney." This place is full of surprises that will transport you back in time to when people lived here years ago. As I watched a documentary about these islands on National Geographic, I was immediately captivated. I am particularly proud of the Standing Stones of Stenness, a Neolithic monument that is truly awe-inspiring.
