Maya Mexican Grill - Orinda

I love the order here for lunch. The Burritos are always good and the red Salsas spicy level is great. The only problem I can see is if they are busy on the phone or rough people from the area.

I must have goofed looking the place up and hit a 1 star. I moved to 5 as I have friends that eat there often and love it. Apparently the crispy tacos are amazing. I'll update my rating if I find something different. Apologies if my erroneous rating caused confusion.

Hit and miss. I love the pork chili verde and they have good mole. But their chips are some very salty and look mass produced. When they have fresh chips it is quite delicious. The pickle and salsa bar is not well stocked at times. Friendly staff though, perhaps the only reason I'm giving it a four star instead of three

Only taqueria in town worth going to. My favorite is the pork chile verde burrito I get it a couple times a month. Very authentic, sustaining, delicious. It's a tiny spot, very crowded, line out the door. Not the spot for a date get your burritos to go and head out to Inspiration Point. Fair prices for Orinda. Drop a tip in the jar for the awesome cashier.

Best Mexican food around! My only regret is that I didn’t find this place sooner because it’s a local staple. Thanks Maya for the best burritos ever.
