Webers Hamburgers - Orillia

I appreciate the nostalgia and tradition associated with a pit stop at Webers en route to or from cottage country but let's be honest - the food is just "ok" and it's overpriced for what it is. Burgers are tasteless - no seasoning other than tons of sodium and toppings are basic. Fries and drinks are basic. The atmosphere is great. Are the long lines justified - no. Worth a visit if you've never been ... but no need to try it ever again.

Always wondered about this place but there was always such a lineup. Since this was later in the day and not much lineup we wanted to try it out. The young employees were quick to write down our order, line moves fast. Very organized but, the burger was just an ok burger like you could get at a any fast food chain restaurant. We had expected something special with the burgers. This place may be a tradition for many people but not going to make it one for us. Also it's a cash only place which isn't really advertised or posted that we could see. They should really be accepting credit and debit.

Amazing food. I was surprised how fast the line moved. All ordered were correct, the staff are very efficient. I would highly recommend it, don't be discouraged by the line. It moves very fast. And the people complaining about paying cash, It's only to keep the flow. They should however put a sign up stating that it's cash only. This place with be a tradition for our family.

Everyone talks about this place so I thought we have to try it. It's always packed the burgers must be amazing. Nope there is absolutely nothin special about this place at all you place your order pay for it they make a very plain burger while you watch I wouldn't look around because looking at how dirty the cooking area is makes you not want to eat there. The floors look like they haven't been swept all day. The only thing good about the place is how fast you go through the line. They are very fast and efficient at serving the people I wouldn't say overly friendly but definitely efficient

As I considered how many stars to give Weber's I thought about the fact that they put up a bridge over the highway for customers. That way you can safely cross the highway even if you're driving south. Then I thought about the huge park-like setting. There are picnic tables and train cars. Even the restrooms are in a train car. There's always a near-carnival like atmosphere and a crowd of people.The line for food is long but it never takes long. Weber's has this down to a science. A team of people take orders and check you out before you even get to the front. It works like clockwork. There aren't many choices. Burger. Hotdog. Veggie Burger. Fries. Poutine. With chocolate shakes that makes up the bulk of the menu. There's ice cream available in a separate building.Any time I'm driving by I stop. It's a fun stop. I love seeing so many people there with their dogs. Anyway, anyone who puts up a bridge so I can conveniently cross the highway gets an extra star from me.
