This is, without doubt, the single most awful Indian restaurant I have ever had the misfortune of going to. There was not one single solitary part of my families evening meal there that was pleasant. To start with, we booked, and upon arrival, we were shown our table, by the barman pointing, it's there. Not let's show you to your table, welcome or anything. We sat down and a full 15 minutes later we were asked for our drinks etc. We asked for the set nenu at which our server tutted, wandered over to the menu table, and then dropped it on our table! We'd asked for 10 poppadoms, but 6 arrived, clearly counting not a strong point. We waited another 15 minutes to order our drinks, which arrived another 15 minutes later. We had the misfortune of choosing the house white wine or Euro vinegar to be precise. It was awful and just missing chips to sprinkle it on. It was then a full hour before our starter, and the kids' poor, cold burnt cold chicken nuggets and chips arrived. Then, a full 90 minutes later, we still had no food. I stopped the waiter who rudely and abruptly told me everyone was waiting for 2 hours and walked away. It then took another 30 minutes for our food to arrive, we wish ut hadn't. It was a tasteless, poor quality meal, the chicken tikka masala tasted like it was made with watery tomato soup, the korma equally as weak, then my Khalari had zero taste. When we complained, we were simply told it wasn't the managers fault. It was because he hadn't employed enough staff, so actually, it was totally his fault. How this place has a good rating is beyond me, I'm guessing they're old ones from it's heyday in times past. My reviews at the time of writing this have over 2.9 million views, and this is because I give an honest review and opinion. My advice is that I'd to completely avoid this restaurant and seek another unless you have 3 hours to kill, no kids to entertain, and no taste buds to be upset.
