Great service we had the menu del dia for2 €35 more expensive than most Indian restaurants in the area but on the other hand the portions were good sized waiter was helpful
Called here as passing N332 wasn’t disappointed on the service from the Team food was excellent and pipping hot. Manager was very helpful and charming. However the English waitress with the glasses didn’t once check back on our table or ask if everything was ok. ????. But instead took to drinking her pint of larger behind the bar which is not a good look. The customers in there are very demanding and want it all for nothing i we could hear them Going on !! Probably drink tap water if they could table beside us used more bad language than I’ve heard at a football match. Good food well presented. Hope they support you all year.
We looked at the reviews left on this site and decided to go for shakira, what a mistake! We ordered drinks they took about 15 minutes to come, then ordered food. In between waiting for the food,a waiter dropped a tray full of drinks in which a red wine splashed on my shorts and t shirt and glass went everywhere, and we was not offered an apology. The starters then came out ,stone cold seehk kebab with a hair in it. My partners chicken shikora was cold and chewy (not deep fried like the menu stated) At this point we were ready to leave but as we went with the early bird deal we was committed with our mains. A couple behind us complained of cold food and 2 hairs in the time we were waiting. The mains were awful ,tasteless and two different dishes tasted and looked the same. Icland microwave curry’s put this food to shame. We then asked for the bill and I asked the waiter if he would accommodate the bad starters and hair in the food and such poor mains. In which he said “yes” and came back with a bill £4 less than the original. Iv been coming to this complex of restaurants for 10 years and this is the first experience of such poor dining. The reviews on this site cannot be genuine people or there’s 2 shakiras.
If I could give this 0 stars I would. I’m not sure how this restaurant has any good reviews if I’m being honest. There is nothing authentic about this Indian, the food is honestly disgusting. We left the restaurant hungry, annoyed and €40 out of pocket.I found a hair in my starter (as did the couple behind us) we told the waiter and he offered another starter but I did decline. The mains were cold, tasteless and just not nice at all. We had about 3 mouthfuls and told the waiter that it wasn’t very nice. He looked shocked. When the bill came we did inform them that we hadn’t eaten much and all they offered was to take the starters off the price of the bill. I rarely complain about food, but I don’t know how this restaurant thinks it’s acceptable to send out food of this quality and actually expect people to pay for it? The couple behind us were also disappointed and didn’t eat much of their meals, however they said they’ve been here previously and the food was okay and the restaurant may be having an off night. My son did enjoy his kids meal though. I would never return to this place. It completely ruined our night.
