We had the menu del dia which had plenty of choice and very large portions (warning! Only order the spaghetti as a starter if hungry). The restaurant is out of the main town but well worth the short drive to it. There is a large dining room where we ate because it was raining but also a large shaded outdoor terrace with views which would be lovely on a sunny day. We certainly recommend Restaurante Taray Botanica For lunch and are sure that evening meals are just as good.

We visited over Easter but things had chan... read more It`s been over 3 years since we last visited this hotel for an evening meal. We always found it to be excellent food. We visited over Easter but things had changed, and not for the better. Service was not that good and the food was very poor. I had the steak, which was ok. My wife had the fish and it was inedible. She left it all but waiter was not bothered and did not ask if there was a problem.Will not be going there again.

Alex, at re... read more Nice place, great value for money. The rooms have an interesting layout king bed with bunks above. We had an issue with the room in the early hours. Alex, at reception was great, without hesitation moved us to another room. Allowed us to get enough sleep to continue our Andalucia adventure.

Staff were well prepared when we arrived, helpful at all times and went o... read more We took a group of 12 to Hotel Taray in early February. We had a wonderful experience. Staff were well prepared when we arrived, helpful at all times and went out of their way to assist us with special requests. The buffet breakfast was enjoyed by everybody, and special requests that were voiced after the first day were catered for immediately. Quality of the dinner was excellent (although dishes were sometimes not hot enough for some members of our group), but this can be sorted by warming up the plates. Menu choice for dinner was good, although we had vegans in the group and the offering for them is somewhat limited. The rooms were spacious, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was perfectly adequate to counteract the cold weather we experienced, even during the night, there is a night setting on the system, which keeps it quiet. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and are already booked to return with our group next year! Thank you to all staff and management at the hotel!
