This is the first Mexican restaurant where I could taste and see the genuine ingredients they use! This place is a step above the rest. I ordered the chimichanga crema with shredded chicken and it was excellent. I could tell by the consistency of the dark meat and the folding of the tortilla that it was all done by hand. First, let me preface this by saying that my husband and I hadn't been to Sierra Mexican Restaurant in Gates, Oregon since they reopened from the fires. We loved it when we visited before. I’ll drive the 15—20 minutes to Gates just to eat here. Their food is a 5x better than Ixtapa’s.
I only played the lottery but from what I could tell it smelled great, I wanted to dine. Very clean.
