I stopped at Ogle County Brewery in Oregon after visiting the nearby Lowden State Park on a day trip from Chicago with a friend in the Fall. The weather was nice enough to sit on the sidewalk patio in front of the brewery and enjoy a flight of beers. The brewery is located in a historical brick building on main street in town, but the traffic was not too bad. We enjoyed quite a few beers that we tasted. The brewery a... View all feedback.
What Joe Knows doesn't like about Ogle County Brewery:
I have to say the inside of this place is beautiful. You can get lost just looking around. bathrooms were clean. However the food was not our cup of tea. The sandwiches Meat was all chopped up with all the dressings almost like a tuna salad or something. I had the brisket sandwich (5) and fries (10). My wife had chicken (5). We also had some pork kind of like ribblet's those were great (8). The cocktails made perfect... View all feedback.

The price was very high $62.20 not including the tip, Although I don't think we will be back to eat here we definitely will be back for a cocktail. Thank you Ogle County brewery for feeding us.
Because of my relationship to the Lebwicks and Bud Eakle, it was bitter sweet. I think they all would be very pleased and proud of what National clothing has become.
Located on the main road love how they brought an old building back to life keeping a lot of the original bones throughout the building with 12 beers on tap it makes for a Great selection of flavors it's family friendly with food available
Be forewarned.....if it 's a warm day, there is no a/c and it is uncomfortable. Adding to that discomfort are the food offerings, which, at best, are undisguised frozen soft pretzels, frozen mini corndogs ugh, and frozen fish and chips. And to call it fish is an insult to every swimming creature! More like a plateful of tiny planks of soggy brownish fish-like disks. And the beer? Mediocre is generous. Not cold, and fell short on the taste scale. A decently designed brewery that just disappoints on just about every level and doesn 't do justice to Oregon, a quaint Ogle County seat. Service is friendly, we can say that. Oh, and the hot mustard was nice even though the pretzel was a twisted piece of undercooked dough. Prices are unnecessarily high for what they offer. They will just have to get it together and try harder.
Worst customer service. The tables were full, but plenty of bar seating, perfect, or so we thought. The fella behind the bar stood there talking to his friends and poured their beer while we sat there for 15+ min. He didn't even acknowledge us. The only waitress was swamped with tables, while he did nothing. Several other people who arrived after us also walked out, all without being served. We won't be back.
