The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service are all outstanding—definitely an A+. I have never been disappointed here. This is hands down my favorite lunch spot. Although the wait times during peak hours can get long, that’s to be expected given its popularity. The seating is somewhat limited, and it’s no secret just how delicious the food is! What Hai C dislikes about Broder Söder:
I've been to this restaurant several times, with my most recent visit being after the pandemic. It's one of our favorite brunch spots on the west side. However, I've noticed a change in the food—it seems much heavier now, with an excessive amount of butter. I couldn't even finish my meal. View all feedback.

Went for the Æbleskivers and was NOT disappointed! So good! Reminded me of the ones my Grandpa used to make when I was little. The lemon curd lingonberrt jam they are served with (along with maple syrup) were my favorite. I went to the store after purchased both items so I can make them at home when my new Æbleskiver pan arrives! The service was also great! Highly recommended looking forward to going back to try more items.

I very much enjoy every visit there. The food is delicious and, in summer time, you can spend time outside.

Broder Söder was a wonderful surprise! Not only excellent food, but great Scandinavian history and a wonderful store. It made me proud of my Scandinavian heritage — and it tasted great as well!
