The garden is nicely decorated. Great scenery and great wine! We had $55 wine tasting and we walked around the garden with our glasses to enjoy the weather! The only food they offer here is pizza (boxed), we think it would be good if they can provide cheese or dessert, which is a little pitted… View all feedback.
What Thomas Schellberg doesn't like about Villa Catalana Cellars:
Good wine, but without google maps, it's hard to find. I booked a reservation early in the morning, arrived at the address one hour before the tasting and drove past it on Critenden Rd several times before I asked someone at the Plaid Pantry in Oregon City. You want to discourage drive-bys, but you could have a bigger sign! It's easy to NOT see the parking lot from the road, just a bunch of nondescript Quonset huts. View all feedback.
Love coming here. This place is amazing. Love there dessert wine service.

This place is absolutely gorgeous but the wine tasting experience was not what I expected. We reserved a time slot for wine tasting at 3pm but did not realize you have to wait in a line to get each one. They also close at 4pm so we were rushing in order to get through the tasting before they closed. Once you find an open table you have to walk back to get wine, walk back to your table, then the tastings are so small you take a couple sips then have to walk back to get the next one. Sure you can buy a bottle of wine but I wanted to try them all before I chose one. I also didn't want to just go through the line, drink it, and get back in it. I wanted to sip it somewhere pretty. By the time we got through the tasting it was almost closing time so I didn't bother getting a bottle. The way the wine tasting is set up just doesn't make for a very relaxing experience. They should give you small flights to take to your table so you aren't running back and forth the entire time. That would have made the experience much more enjoyable. It was lovely exploring the grounds. I just wish it was more of a relaxing experience.
Such a magical place! The property is gorgeous and there’s a lot of spots to sit at and enjoy wine in sunshine or shade. We loved their pinot gris!
