My friend took me here because she had the best tacos of her life there. She was not wrong. I got the chicken mole and it was magical. I don't eat Mexican often, but it was the best I've ever had. Service is very friendly and there's lots of seating. The front area has interesting photos of old Oregon City. View all feedback.
We shared a combo of chicken and steak fajitas, which, while the pieces of meat were on the smaller side, were still plentiful. The small guacamole we ordered was fantastic as well. They allowed us to mix and match corn and flour tortillas, creating endless combinations for our meal. Even the side salad was enjoyable! Everything was mouth-watering. The staff was friendly, although the service was a bit slow; it seemed like just one person was managing most of the dining area on a Sunday. Nonetheless, we’re definitely planning to return for the incredible food. The menu features a variety of intriguing options!
We’ve been living in Orange County for 11 years, and this was our first visit to this restaurant, but it definitely won’t be our last. Our waiter treated us to a sample platter of salsa, which was incredible! I ordered the hard taco platter, and the taco shells are made in-house and are perfect. While the chicken and carne asada could have used a bit more flavor, overall, lunch was quite enjoyable! The place is charming, and the staff is incredibly friendly!
We discovered this restaurant on Yelp and thought it would be perfect for a casual early dinner before graduation. It completely exceeded our expectations! Although they were short-staffed, the team worked diligently to accommodate us and apologized throughout our visit. I've experienced much slower service with a less friendly attitude. The food was absolutely worth the wait; since everything is fresh and made to order, it did take a bit longer. The homemade salsas were amazing and all had their own unique flavors. This is authentic Mexican cuisine made with so much love, and it really shows!
Tried to go to a different place and they were having a private party, so we meandered into this place and found that they had room for us. Our server was attentive and kind. The food a place worth coming back for. We were very pleased and will return
I think the best thing about this place is their variety of chip dips and salsas you can pair with the main entrees. However by no means would I consider this to be authentic Mexican food. I might come back here to get some sides including the chips and salsas but I don't think I would return to get the main things on their menus. I got the burrito and they are served in an American style with a fork and knife. I'm sorry, that's not how Mexican food is served in a Mexican restaurant. The portions are great and the staff is great as well though! I just can't see myself giving this place any higher than 3 stars due to the less than impressive main dishes. They've got a variety to choose from: burritos, tacos, enchiladas, tamales, chiles rellenos, etc. It's a small but personal location and feels a little bare for what it is. I'd go somewhere else for authentic Mexican food.
