Vfw Post 336 - Ordway

I've never been in a VFW before. I was on a long bicycle tour and I bicycled into town late in the day. I was tired, grimy from the road, and starving. The bartender made me an incredible **** Mary, so good I had to have another. And the chef cooked me up a tender steak and perfectly seasoned mash potatoes. I ate every last bite, even though the serving size was so huge my tummy hurt from being too full. But most of all the entire place was full of friendly locals and cheerful banter. It was quite the treat after cycling in the desert and grasslands with only turtles to talk to. This is definitely THE place to stop for a bite, a drink, and some friendly conversation.

Sports bar, weekly meal specials, casual social atmosphere, friendly folk, outside beer garden, weekly music nights. They do catering too. Great little local pub . Staff and customers are welcoming and conversation flows. Highly recommend .
