The Birches - Ordsall

Poor attitude towards staff with little to no respect for people who work behind the scenes of making your meals and time here pleasant. The landlord swears left , right and centre in-front of small children and they fire staff like no tomorrow. Staff are made to stay for long shifts even if nobody comes into the place itself.Both owners are very poor qualified people , with the landlady doing disgusting things within the kitchen that nobody is aloud to mention. Many customers have complained about horrible food and mix up of orders.

Service was okay though the place was empty. Pint was off and didn't even finish it. Decoration were a bit old hat

Since the pub has been under new management it's been great going in there. Always a friendly welcome, nice relaxed atmosphere and can have a good laugh. I've eaten a handful of times recently and the food is amazing. The chunkyist chips in town! I recommend to anyone who hasn't been to defiantly give it a go. Sunday carvery is a must to try. I most certainly will be going again soon.

New owners and it 's getting back to the place we used to love to come. Only limited food menu on Mon/Tues but that 's good enough when we were offered steak and chips and chicken nuggets for our son!! Glad we gave it another go, lovely couple that now run it. Let 's hope it gets back to the place to be that it once was
