The onl... read more Their drink selection is impressive as well, whether you’re in the mood for coffee, a hearty meal, or a nice alcoholic beverage—this is the place to be! The only reason I’m not giving this place a perfect five stars is my personal opinion about the Cuban sandwiches: they just didn’t stack up to what I had in Florida, and I found them lacking. The ingredients and especially the bread were different, which might just come down to personal preference. It’s like the difference between pasta cooked fully or al dente; some might prefer one over the other. I believe their Cuban sandwiches just don’t measure up to the standard I’m used to, but with such an authentic and delicious menu, it’s hard to let that detract from the overall experience! Since I’ve only had Cuban food in Florida and not in Cuba itself, I may have developed a taste for a different style. After being disappointed by the sandwich, I’m hesitant to try it again given how fantastic the rest of the menu is. If you live in the area or are just visiting, you absolutely must enjoy a meal here. It’s truly a gem in Orcutt!
