I have a night there and an evening meal for which they pay. the room was very simple no heating, and orbost is very cold. the whole place is more than a bit rough around the edges, but has character loads (and a beautiful balcony.) that eating was ok and the staff was very friendly. What User doesn't like about Orbost Club:
Our stay was terrible, it all appeared very nice online, the bar lady checked us in, nice and friendly but the room was freezing cold, and smelt extremely musty, we had to open the window to let in fresh air for the mustiness. The common room/lounge had open packets of food on a table in the corner and although there was a kettle we did not touch anything as it did not look clean. Thank goodness we had our own thermo... Lovely little pub very homely great conversation a definite stop for anyone in the area very accepting of the little ones made for a relaxing stay

Dropped in on our way past and SO glad we did. Staff (especially what appeared to be the publican) were so accommodating. Vegan burger was amazing!! So much to love about this pub. Good old fashioned pub. Affordable beer and good food! We’ll be back!
The annoying smoke alarm was terrible, the whole place falls apart, I recommend this place no one
