Da Enzo - Oranmore

I visited this restaurant for the first time and upon entering, I noticed that only one table out of 15 was occupied. I was given the option to choose any available table, including ones outside. The waitress seemed displeased with having to work and had a somewhat grumpy attitude. I asked if I should order starters separately or with my main dish, and was advised that the spaghetti bolognese would be quicker to prepare. I opted to have everything together and the food arrived promptly. I didn't receive any water with my table and had to ask for a cappuccino instead. When I inquired about adding a small salad to my meal, I was initially told it was only available with lasagne, but later found out there was an option for a side salad. The salad had cheap, hard tomatoes and lacked better quality ingredients. The garlic bread was mediocre with minimal cheese. The chips were decent but nothing special. The spaghetti was tasty and cooked quickly, although it seemed like it may have been reheated. When I requested fresh grated cheddar for my spaghetti, I was only offered parmesan with a lackluster response. The service lacked smiles and enthusiasm throughout, making the experience less enjoyable. Despite filling me up, I don't plan on returning to this restaurant in the future. The interaction at the till was also quiet and somber, with a brief "thanks" as I left. Overall, the experience was grim.

Recently, my wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Da Enzo. The food and service were both fantastic. We will definitely be returning in the future.

My family and I live close by and frequently dine at Da Enzo's. It is ideal for a relaxed meal with our son, a family gathering, a date night, or a special celebration. The food is always tasty and the staff are consistently friendly. I would highly recommend trying their delicious assortment of pastas, thin and crispy garlic pizza breads, and, of course, the chocolate orange cake! Da Enzo's never disappoints and has become a beloved choice for our family.

I felt lucky to find this place after a long drive- looked good so we figured we would try it out and we were happy we did! It was delicious, great portion sizes, comfortable, and tasty. Went with four others and tried a bite of theirs too- it was all a hit. The staff were friendly, the tea was good, and the atmosphere was great. Would love to come back!

We were visiting friends who had recently moved to the area. All of us are unfamiliar with the village so we took a walk into the town to find somewhere to eat and found Enzos. We had to eat indoors as the outdoor area was full and the staff followed full Covid protocol with us. The food was very tasty and great service. My only complaint is that the main pasta portions are small. I ordered the ravioli with prawns and I only got 4 prawns with a small amount of ravioli and my husband got the toscanna which was also a small portion.
