The Chophouse At Manchebo - Oranjestad

The lobster thermador was the best lobster dish I've ever had. And Harold, our server, was excellent, knowledgeable, and skilled. His table-side preparation of the Caesar salad was a delight.

All of our entrees (3 people were overcooked and dried out. Tasted reheated. Tomahawk pork chop was really a bone n chop with a small rib bone (maybe 2” . Needed a knife to cut the grouper. Chicken dried out. Inedible. Caesar salad dressing bland. Onion soup bland. Very light wine pours. Management did credit us for the chicken and took 20% off the remainder but that’s not the point. We expected a good meal like we used to get when it was French’s Steakhouse. Food came through the lobby as if it was prepared at Ike’s.

Stay away from this establishment. We were a party of three and I had ordered short ribs . The entree was frozen ice cold when I cut through it. Seriously I was shocked that it could have left the kitchen -they must have microwaved the meat poured sauce on it and sent it out. I angrily spoke to the manager and he was shocked also took it back and we never saw him again until we exited. Never again.

Steak was gross like leather, short rib dinner was all fat . Service was slow and it was empty . Not going back ever or will never recommend to anyone . And the service charge was ridiculous

Very nice restaurant. Excellent service. Food was very good but not exceptional. Very pricey.
