Blue Martini - Oranjestad

Very bad service, they aren't unfriendly but they are excruciatingly slow and do not check up on tables. Food items are good; flatbreads are essentially a deep dish Square using what seems like melted cheese over (ALOT of) focaccia bread. Salads are decent. Drinks vary depending on what you order. The signature aruba arriba can be watered down some days other days pretty strong. They do offer poolside service which is a plus but similar slow service doesn't do it much justice.

It's a great bar to hang out but the service is horrible. Seated at the bar it's ok but at the tables the staff simply ignores you and avoids eye contact like you're a beggar.

Nice bar. The food here is good if limited. The wok noodles are good and are to be recommended. We also sampled the chicken waffle, bit of an acquired taste along with the pulled pork tostada, which was very nice. The molten chocolate cake failed to have a liquid inside. The wine is served in tiny thimbles. Not bad overall.

Can really get hot here, especially during the happy hour part of the day, but we really enjoy blue. in recent years the service has dramatically improved. we rarely wait for drinks, even if we pack out. we always try to see javier who is one of the manager and a super big guy. renaissance is our favorite hotel on the island.
