Great food great service and a very good price. My wife and I had a day in the springs and starved after. They were very accommodating and even gave us free maize bread until the appetizers came out. The sampler plate was awsome and filled and left happy and full. View all feedback.
What Ann-Marie Heffernan doesn't like about Sonny's Bbq:
Ordered smoke wings all flats was told I couldn't order that because the district manager standing back in kitchen area said so. Needless to say I cancelled my order. I have always ordered them so not sure why this district manager said no. And didn't even bother to come out and speak to me. Just bad business. This was addressed and we will give them another try. Thought our dining experience was great. Seated quickly, waitress was friendly and attentive and food was served in record time. Will definitely be back!!
Our food was delicious, but my best compliment is for our waitress. I only wish I could remember her name. First, I asked her if she could allow me to taste a very small piece of sausage because I'm a bit picky with sausage. She said of course and brought me a piece which was delicious. Next, I asked if I could get a little extra sausage instead of the brisket. You bet, she did it. At the end of the meal, my daughter-in-law asked my son if she could have his last French fry just as he threw it in his mouth. So, he asked our waitress if she could bring his wife just ONE French fry. She headed straight to the kitchen, brought out TWO fries and said she brought one for him AND one for her. I just wish I could remember her name so she could get credit for being so kind and giving us GREAT customer service.
Sampler......Brisket, ribs, sliced pork, 1/4 chicken, bbq beans, fries....a couple ice cold drafts to wash it down.....
The bbq was mouth watering good. The brisket just melts in your mouth and the ribs are out of this world (and I hate pork!
Always enjoy my Sonny’s. Sliced pork and fries… extra extra crispy… Pork has always been hot and juicy. Especially in the am. Fries come out just as I like them. Today was no exception. Never have been disappointed with this location and now… I need a nap.
