This was our first time visiting this restaurant, so we arrived early as we had read that it was run by a small staff. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and we are already planning to order from them again. The restaurant is small, with only about 5 tables, so I recommend arriving early to avoid a wait or consider placing an order. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Neko Ramen:
I was very disappointed with the restaurant. The service was slow, even though there were very few people there. It took almost 45 minutes to get my food, and the quality of the noodles was not much better than store-bought package noodles. After reading the owner's ignorant comments, I felt compelled to leave a review. This experience made me realize that Walmart and McDonald's offer better food and service. The res... A very average ramen spot that is ALWAYS out of key ingredients. The online menu is much larger than what they actually have available (not really sure why they don't update to what they really offer).
My husband and I just happened to be in the area and were so excited to find this restaurant. It seems that the only places that have ramen are in the depths of Orlando not Neko Ramen! It didn't seem like too much from the outside just in a strip mall on a side street. However, we immediately knew that we made a good decision to stop in as soon as we walked through the doors. You order at the counter and they bring your drinks and food to your table. We both decided to order the Tonkotsu Ramen. I ordered chashu pork while my husband got steamed chicken. We were so impressed with the taste! There was so much food it was definitely worth the price. By the end, we both had a small container to take home. We have already planned our next trip!
This is how a restaurant should work. Small menu done to perfection. Not 60 choices all lacking. Sad they aren't open for lunch. I always drive to mills area (45 min) for ramen, dim sum, etc. because no one else has ever offered anything close to the authentic quality. Until now. Avoid the noodle house in Deland. They treat you poorly and rip you off. So glad to have something this great where the owners treat their customers incredibly well and offer superior food.
We went to Sanford central Florida zoo for the lantern festival and then afterwards decided to hit a local restaurant. The only decent ones around (11 mins drive) happens to land us here in debary area for this small hole in the wall ramen place. The sign said after 5pm Ramen only. So we ordered ramen. I got the tonkatsu broth with the chicken Katsu and my husband got the spicy miso broth (I think) it's the only spicy one on the menu. I also ordered a pork belly bao bun for my 2 year old. Mind you, I'm not a ramen/watery dish gal. My husband like anything that is a noodle soup but I'm more on the dry side. WOW I enjoyed this dinner soooooo much. I didn't take any pics bc my phone was preoccupied by my son but it was soooo delish! Very good, the server was polite even tho they're not that busy, they're short staff. I would give 5 stars but I docked one bc we literally waited a good 30 mins bc there was a couple in front of us and a table of 8 in front and very small staff. 3 person show. We didn't really get out till 8:45 when we arrived around 7:00 and then drove back to Orlando another 45 minutes. We were tired but the food is definitely good!
I have been on the hunt for a Ramen Shop for the longest time, and finally finding this place I had give it a shot. In no way whatsoever was it a disappointment. The appetizers were delicious. The ramen Gary.. I ordered a bowl with pork bone broth, pork, and all the fixings... And it was absolutely perfect! This place provides both quantity and quality with their servings. My wife and I were able to walk away both full and remarkably satisfied
