Sol Y Mar Mexican Grill Cantina

After visiting some of the zillion seafood places im the area, I really had a hankering for some Mexican food. The food was really good, and came in generous portions. The menu selection was typical for Mexican restaurants. The pricing was maybe a touch more expensive than it needed to be, but that was what I was expecting given the location. The guy at the checkout counter was a little too familiar with the people in my party, but otherwise the service was good.

Heard they had a new cook, tried it and liked it very much. Tastes much better than it did when they first opened. My favorites dishes so far are the Steak Fajitas and the Fajita Chimichanga... rice n beans have good flavor to them as well.

Best Mexican food on the island! We had steak fajitas, chile rellenos, and chicken enchiladas. They aren't as fast as some Mexican restaurants but the food is much better. We will definitely be back.

We have always had great service and the food has been delicious! We love the salads with the grill veggies and they are large. Tamales are my favorite and hubby loves the fajitas.

Finally! A good Mexican joint in Orange Beach! The ingredients are high quality unlike the dog food you get at every other Mexican place from Foley to Gulf Shores to Orange Beach. The steak fajitas are perfect. The margaritas are top shelf. No koolaid tasting sugary ****. This our new non-seafood go-to spot. Also, run by the owners so the staff is friendly as can be and show you a good time. Finding this place made my day today.
