I recently dined at a lovely small restaurant. I wish I had the chance to explore the area in the daylight. This gives me a reason to return in the future. My boyfriend and I tried the Rooster Sandwich and the Paradise Burger. The chicken sandwich was a bit too salty for my taste, but the burger was absolutely delicious. The fries were hot, crispy, and flavorful, but the portion size was so generous that we couldn't finish them. The service was also excellent.

The location is a bit off the main road and on a dead-end street but it's only a few minutes from the beach and well worth the effort to find. There are several different restaurants owned by Sassy Bass with various unique offerings, including a special donut shop. I love the Island Grille location, from the building to the friendly staff to the delicious food. The island-inspired dishes are beautifully spiced and there is comfortable seating both inside and outside. The shrimp Po' Boy was loaded with fresh shrimp and served on a delicious Cuban bread. The wine sauce was a welcome change from the usual cocktail sauce. The crab cakes were perfectly seasoned and the crab sandwich on Cuban bread was excellent. The chicken wings special was a hit, with a selection of tasty sauces to choose from. The oyster Po' Boy was huge and delicious, served on Cuban bread. The salad was also very good. The indoor bar has all your favorite drinks, as well as a few TVs. The staff was friendly and professional, making us feel welcome. Although I was too full for dessert, I hear the banana pudding is excellent. Overall, everything we tried was top-notch. I give this place 5 stars and highly recommend it. Cheers!
The food was delicious and served promptly. They offer outdoor seating and have a great family-friendly atmosphere. We definitely plan on returning.
Nathan is fantastic. I always order the fish fingers at this restaurant and they never fail to impress. On my latest visit, Nathan really enhanced the overall experience. If you are seeking a restaurant with excellent service, delicious food, and a fantastic ambiance, this is the place to go.
