Ometer Tiki Raw - ORANGE BEACH

A great tiki bar on the bay. Nice view, cold beer and the wings were the best I've had in Orange Beach.

VERY STRANGE VIBE AND DISGUSTING FOOD! Have been to Tiki many times… and was always good. BUT now, most likely, will not go back! Upon walking in, the bartender (7/30/2024) continually and strangely stared at our group… very odd! Next, the waiter obviously did not want to be there by his stand off and edgy behavior, though he did finally come around and conversed some with us. We later learned from him that this would be his last day working there. In all fairness to him, he deducted the price of one of our meals due to its unacceptable preparation. As for the food, the grouper sandwich was served on a “wet” bun that could not be picked up due to its sogginess. The grouper was “greasy and mushy”. The new style cheeseburger they serve since the new management took over was so salty and greasy it was disgusting. The new management has brought on a number of new staff members and only a couple of the old and reliable staff were present. As a local homeowner, we try to support local businesses… there are enough other restaurants in the area that we can visit. I hope the new Tiki management reads this and actually cares enough to improve what has gone downhill very fast since the previous ownership.

Sat in the outdoor tiki bar and had drinks. Great tropical drink memu! Had the Pirates Booty rum drink and a strawberry daiquiri. Wasn't eating but the menu was appetizing and had good variety. The bar had a thatched roof, plenty of seating, and incredible dockside views. Great breeze and was very comfortable. The service was good too.

We got to the restaurant at abt 1:30 it was very crowded there was hardly anyone serving other tables. no tables open so we waited for like 15 minutes to get a table and then we sat down waiting for a person to serve us. No one even came to our table. We waited a whole hour. We eneded up leaving at around 2:45 with no service at all. Probably not going back for a while. Also menu changed a lot not much options.

Great food, service, and atmosphere! If you enjoy seafood, the shrimp is a must try!
