Big Fish - ORANGE BEACH

Perfect! Everything was just so. Thank you for a great ending to a memorable day. (update) Went back again and ate at the bar. Sushi was phenomenal, service spot on.

It was OK, but probably won 't return in the future. The first thing my son said about his Ribeye was dad you make a much better steak. I took a bite and he 's correct, plus it was extremely tough. I 'd be surprised if it were a grade above select. The crab cakes I got were really good, definitely in the top 10 I 've ever had and very little filler. My other son and wife both had the salmon, again I can make a better one. And sometimes chefs get too complex. I use fresh only and fry mine in 450 degree tallow, skin on, and only use salt and pepper and take it to medium rate/medium. You won 't get a more flavorful, crispy fish. The deserts were ok... the lava cake was the best I 've had. The brookie was good too, but they have better at BJs. And the bread pudding was a disappointment. It was dry, flavorless, and expensive for such a small piece (again, I make a better one at home).

The atmosphere was wonderful and very calming. The service was impressive. I ordered the big fish die fry vegan and requested it to be not spicy. Initially, they brought me a dish that was quite spicy, which I had to send back. The waitress was very apologetic and brought me another one that was not seasoned. It was enjoyable, but it could have used a bit more seasoning. Additionally, there were more vegetarian options on the menu, including seaweed salad, veggie sushi, mixed salads, and cucumber salad.

One of our favorites was transformed with a whole food plant-based menu, and I was thrilled to find the "big die fry" on the menu! It featured Napa cauliflower, mushrooms, and sweet red pepper in a spicy Thai broth, served with steamed jasmine rice—absolutely delicious! There were several other options too, including sautéed garlic spinach, sautéed green beans, sautéed Napa cauliflower, and roasted potatoes. I also enjoyed their sweet sushi. Thank you, Big Fish!

Big Fish is a fantastic restaurant located on Canal Road in Orange Beach. I absolutely love their crab salad and volcano roll, but honestly, everything on the menu is delightful. The offerings change frequently based on what's fresh from the Gulf, so be prepared to enjoy a little spontaneity during your meal. You'll find diver scallops, sushi, shrimp, crab, queen snapper, triple tail, mahi mahi, and trigger fish, all prepared and presented with flair and flavor. This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking exceptional cuisine in Orange Beach. Don't miss out on it!
