What a delightful vintage restaurant located right across from the Guitar Shop in The City of Orange! It was the perfect spot to dash into for a date with my grandson on a rainy day. Christian and I settled in at the counter, where the friendly waitress helped me navigate my indecision about how to enjoy a chocolate malt with half the calories to accompany my chili bowl topped with onions. It was fantastic! Christian ordered a burger with fries drizzled in her secret sauce, along with a strawberry and vanilla malt. We were both on cloud nine! The decor is charming, complete with inspiring slogans. I can't recommend this fun place enough for a quick bite after shopping!
The waitress truly won my heart. My mother chose this restaurant, but when it was time to order, I wasn't in the mood for American food and decided not to order anything. My mother was a bit frustrated and remarked to the waitress that I was "throwing a fit" because I didn't want what she had in mind. Instead of reacting negatively, the waitress simply smiled and suggested that I let her know if I changed my mind after looking at the menu.
The food is decent, but my favorite dish is the bacon and cheese fries. The Oreo shake is excellent as well. Our service was fantastic! Just a heads up, there are no restrooms available at the restaurant; you’ll have to use the facilities at nearby outlets. We celebrated my son's birthday there, and they were kind enough to sing for him, which made his day even more special!
The milkshake was pretty good. I am a chocolate lover, so had a medium Hershey’s chocolate. The patents were tender and juicy. The price was drawn for me. 16Bums for a burger and a shake. See you.
If you go to the orange outlet, do not pass without trying their hamburgers and milkshakes. I especially recommend the route66 burger.
