Be prepared for potential wait times, especially on busy weekend mornings. The atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic, perfect for a casual brunch with friends or family. The themed decor and attentive staff add to the overall experience. Despite some inconsistencies in service, The Filling Station remains a must-visit destination for a satisfying breakfast in a unique setting just a block away from Orange Circle.
Good if you make $12k+ a month. Classic American food and more. Vegan dishes aren’t great. Parkings very hard.
The Filling Station Cafe in Old Towne Orange is Stellar
Amazing breakfast place , special mention to their Home fried potatoes. Also their Cornmeal pancakes are out of this world. Got a bit of a wait time to get seated but the service was pretty seamless.
Food came out super fast! The food was delicious and the vibe was great. Only issue may be parking, but there is a lot of street parking available.
Today I came in for breakfast which it was a Wednesday morning. I was quite excited for my friends to try the filling station for the first time. But I had a horrible experience and probably will never return. I had to wait 30 minutes for a seat which was normal. But then when I sat down I had to wait another 30 minutes for literally no waiter to come to greet us or even give us any water. Whoever was running the shift definitely shouldn’t be working there. As it wasn’t even as busy during the weekend and left 5 people heavily disappointed. I also wanted to add that when we all got up the lady who seemed like she was running the shift asked if we were in a time crunch… like a customer should wait a total of an hour to not even get any water or even a simple greeting? That’s absolutely ridiculous. I was so disappointed today and I loved coming here but today just ruined it. I would come here almost twice to three times a month. But it really showed me today that they don’t care. No customer should be sitting there and not even get a greeting or some water. They should really reevaluate things because this experience will definitely make me find another breakfast place.
