Nestled in the heart of Southern California, this Persian restaurant garners mixed reviews. While its ambiance is inviting and customer service is notably friendly, the food has left some diners disappointed. Signature dishes like Zereshk polo with chicken and various stews often miss the mark, with concerns about overcooking and lack of flavor. However, moments of brilliance shine through with the tender chicken shish kebab, flavorful tadig, and complementary fresh bread. Families appreciate generous portions and accommodating staff, making it a potential go-to for casual dining. Overall, while there are highlights, consistency remains an issue in the culinary offerings.

I have loved this place for over 20 years! Words cannot truly capture how incredible the food and atmosphere are—it's simply EXCEPTIONAL!

It seems they run out of things regularly. The hummus and Kashk Bademjan lacked flavor, while the Chicken Soltani and Kubbedieh were just average; nothing really stood out in terms of taste. The only dish that impressed me, and the reason for my three-star rating, was the tadig with Sabz Gormeh. It had wonderful aromas and lived up to its strong reviews. If I were to rate solely based on service and portion sizes, I might give them five or even six stars. However, the flavors of the food were quite lackluster.

I was really surprised by the reviews! Unfortunately, the experience was not as great as expected. While they do serve fresh bread, the food left much to be desired. We ordered Zereshk polo with chicken, tahdig, three stews, kubideh kebab, and Fesenjoon stew. The chicken with Zereshk polo was so overcooked that it resembled chicks boiling in water, and the smell was unpleasant. The Fesenjoon and Gheime stews were decent, but the ghormeh sabzi was not good at all. The yogurt was excellent, and we also enjoyed the Kashk Bademjoon, but these weren't the main dishes we were looking forward to. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant!

I got really surprised about this place reviews! Actually it was not that good. Yes, they serve fresh baked bread but not the food. So we ordered zereshk polo and chiken, tah dig and 3 stews, kubideh kebob and Fesenjoon stew. Kashk bademjonn andyoghurt. It was so wired they served chicken with zereshk polo like chiken in boiling water that the smell was horrible!Fesenjoon and gheime stew was good but ghormeh sabzi wasn?t any good. Yoghurt was really good and we liked kashk bademjoon aswell! But not the main courses. So I don?t recommend this place!
