The food is good. We ordered one plate with 3 sides one Thor sandwich and a salad with a choice of meat. I don't know if they made a mistake and I don't blame if it's their signature salad but I got something that looks and tastes like coleslaw. It tasted good but I wanted a regular fresh salad.. I had it togo so I didn't bothered myself to go and ask. View all feedback.
What James B doesn't like about Brew Hawg Bbq Root Beer Co.:
Spent $60 here and they gave me less food than I actually ordered and refused to refund me the proper amount of food. I used to love this place, but it has gone downhill. The food doesn't taste as good as it is used to and is overpriced. View all feedback.
I've been dining and ordering from here for years, and their BBQ is fantastic. My go-to choices are the Beef Brisket and the coconut cream corn—both are my favorites! I've sampled nearly everything on their menu and have never been disappointed. Bree Hawg has become a family favorite for us, haha!
I enjoy their food a lot. The side dishes have a delicious, homemade taste (they probably are homemade, but I can't say for certain). The meat is tender, and the portion sizes are just right. You definitely get your money's worth without overindulging or wasting food.
Called store prior to placing order to ensure food came out like pictures meaning its a slab of meat sauceless they confirmed it with me. Then it arrives in shreads half the size with bbq looked more like pulled pork. As for the deviled eggs they had chunks and sauce I was extremly disappointed.
The Momo Bowl was decent... I liked the Mash and Corn, but did not like the flavor/texture of the Vegan beef, but did love the Mac, Cornbread and crispy flavorful tots!
I was intrigued by the Hawg Eggs, but the pork belly was undercooked and lacked seasoning as well. When prepared properly, pork belly can be wonderfully caramelized and crispy. Having tried the pork belly during my previous visit, I was hoping for a redemption this time around. I believe in giving places a second chance, but sadly, Brew Hawg did not manage to redeem itself from my last disappointing experience. If the pork and BBQ sauce had been seasoned correctly, it could have been an outstanding meal. Instead, it was just mediocre and left me craving the delicious meal I was promised. At this point, I’m not inclined to give this place another shot. I’m done with Brew Hawg.
