That said,we were pleasantly surprised with both decor and welcome which was friendly and efficient. That said food was just not great with a questionable level of expertise in the kitchen. Fish was overcooked and came with a sauce that obviously came from a can, burger was just bof and both came with dark brown greasy fries. We were asked if everything was ok and i mentioned the fries were either reheated or oil needed changing and was told that it was the type of potatoes ! All in all just not great food. Would I return ? Nope.

A... read more We stopped here twice for late morning coffee and croissant while in the area. The first time was OK. On the second visit we sat at one of the outside tables. After a while the waiter came and requested that we move to a different set table a few yards away. Apparently the first table was reserved for lunch diners, although it was identical to the second table and there was nobody there to have lunch. This seemed to make no sense as there were around 40 empty tables. The same thing happened to the next customers to arrive. After they had settled themselves at a table the waiter arrive and told them to move. Equally disappointing was that the restaurant was unwilling or unable to offer a croissant despite the place being mostly empty. The coffee was satisfactory.
